AC Milan striker Robinho is likely to move back to Santos during the summer transfer window, according to his father Gilvan de Souza.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a return to the Brazilian side where he started his professional career in 2002, but his father who doubles as his agent was adamant he would finish the season in Italy before moving to South America.

These stories are only rumours he will not move from Milan (in January). I m sure he will go to Santos in the summer, de Souza told UOL Esporte.

Marcus Rashford will miss Manchester United s next few games, the Premier League giants have confirmed.

Rashford suffered a muscle injury in United s 2-0 win against Everton on Saturday.

It was revealed on Wednesday that not only will the in-form forward be out for the Europa League quarter-final first leg against Sevilla on Thursday, but further games beyond that.

The 25-year-old has had a fine season for the Red Devils, scoring 28 goals in 47 outings, but will now miss the next few games .

Cesc Fabregas has pulled out of the Spain squad for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier with Belarus with a hamstring injury.

Midfielder Fabregas played the full 90 minutes for Chelsea last Saturday as they beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield.

The former Barcelona and Arsenal man was praised for his performance by club manager Jose Mourinho, who after the match indicated that it would be a risk for Fabregas to play for Spain on Saturday due to his hamstring problem.

Zenit star Danny admits that he has received a number of offers from Primeira Liga, with a return to Portugal a realistic option.

The highly rated footballer left Sporting Lisbon in 2005 in favour of a switch to Dynamo Moscow and has since developed into one of top players in Russian Premier League.
